Webbers Corner Rules

The following rules have been set by the administration at Webbers Corner to ensure your experience is enjoyable and helpful.  By registering to the forum you automatically agree to the rules.


1 - General Rules


1.1 - One account per person only.  If you are found to be the owner of two accounts, both will be deleted.  If for any reason you are have trouble accessing your account please do not create a new one, contact the administration.


2 - Posting Rules


2.1 - Your posts must be at least 30 characters long and make a contribution to the thread.  Posts such as 'that's so cool' or 'wow' will be removed and you will be issued with 5% warning.

2.2 - Please be polite.  This forum contains members of all ages and abilities.  Please do not post anything that is offensive or rude.  Anyone found be post in this nature will be issued with 10% warning and their post removed.

2.3 - Please ensure you do not post any personal information on the forums.  All forums are open to the public to view and Webbers Corner does not take any responsibility for the consequences of doing this.  We accept referencing to an IM or email but recommend you send it via private message.  Any personal information found on the forum such as addresses or phone numbers will be removed by the forum staff.

2.4 - Participants may not post on behalf of any banned member in any public manner. This includes all forums, private messages, signatures, and e-mail features.  If this is found to take place you yourself will be banned as well.

2.5 - Posters may not post words or URLs that are censored by adding spaces, dots, or substituting characters; or by any other means in an attempt to defeat any censors put in place by Webbers Corner.  Any found to do this will incur a 10% warning.

2.6 - members may not bump threads. Bumping can refer to posting useless information, making corrections or updates in a new post, posting one-liners or any other action to deliberately keep a thread hot or to bring it to the top of its forum. Moderators will use their discretion, depending on the nature of the post, as to whether to take action or not.  This will incur a 10% warning on your account.

2.7 - Any posts that encourage illegal intent will be removed and the account disabled.

2.8 - Any post not meeting a moderator's criteria will be removed without notice.  This may incur a warning on your account of up to 10%.


3 - Forum Rules (including forum specific rules)


3.1 - Under no circumstances may you use any of the forums for commercial promotion.  Anyone found to be self promoting commerical websites will have their post removed and 10% warning added to their account.

3.2 - Members may not direct others to contact them regarding their product or services or future (possible) products or services, or any product or services they are, or have been, associated with.  Anyone found to be doing this will have their post removed and 10% warning added to their account.

3.3 - Members may not solicit the membership for feedback or suggestions on their product or services. Except in forums where this is expressly permitted.  This forums include the showcase forums.  Anyone found to be doing this will have their post removed and 10% warning added to their account.


4 - Signature, Avatar and User Titles Rules

Signatures

Anyone found breaking the following rules will incur a 10% warning.

4.1.1 - Must be setup in your profile, and not manually added to your messages.

4.1.2 - May not contain any pricing, plan, sales, etc. details.

4.1.3 - Cannot contain more than 3 links.

4.1.4 - Please reframe to using a maximum of 3 colours plus black.

4.1.5 - Your signature must not exceed the length of 255 characters.

4.1.6 - A maximum of two small images are permitted in your signature.  These images must not exceed the equivalent space of 4 lines at 1024x768 resolution and cannot contain any offensive or abusive material.

4.1.7 - Please do not use any font size larger than medium.

4.1.8 - Your signature is your signature. It is not for sale or rent.

4.1.9 -  Any signature that is offensive or insulting to either Webbers Corner, its members, or its staff, are prohibited.

4.1.10 - We reserve the right to ask you to change and/or remove your signature at any time, for any reason.


Avatars

Anyone found breaking the following rules will incur a 10% warning.

4.2.1 - Maximum size for an avatar is 100x100

4.2.2 - Advertisement is forbidden.

4.2.3 - You are not permitted to use an avatar with offensive or abusive content.


User Titles

Anyone found breaking the following rules will incur a 10% warning.

4.3.1 - URLs or other forms of advertising (phone numbers, plans, contact details, etc.) are not allowed in custom user titles, which is limited to 25 characters. Also, members may not use custom titles to impersonate, or attempt to impersonate, Webbers Corner Staff or user groups.


5 - Privacy Report

5.1 - We will not release any member information unless under court order to do so.

5.2 - We reserve the right to modify and amend these terms at any time without notice. It is your responsibility to remain informed of current Webbers Corner policies.

5.3 - If there are any rules or policies you do not understand, you may contact Administration at tyros8000[at]webberscorner.com.

5.4 - Finally; any abuse towards our staff and/or management in any form, may result in immediate suspension of your account.



If you feel any of the above rules have been violated by a member report it.


Warning System

You may have noticed throughout the rules warning percentages.  Here is a breakdown of the warning system and how it works.

- First time you reach 100% on the warning system you will be banned for three days.  Once the three days are completed you're warning percentage will reduce to 50%.

- Second time you reach 100% on the warning system you will be banned for 1 week.  Once the week is completed you're warning percentage will reduce to 50%.

- Third time you reach 100% on the warning system you will be banned for 1 month.  Once the month is completed you're warning percentage will reduce to 50%.

- Forum warnings will expire but dependent on the number of times you have been banned the speed of them expiring may differ.

For serious offenses you will be banned immediately without notice.
