Hello dedicated members,

The forum team here have decided to publish some newsletters relating to the content of this site.  They will be sent to every registered member twice a month.

Each newsletter will contain some forum news and more importantly an article.  The articles will be alternating between computing and internet ones.  The topics of articles will vary from Ipods to hardware or SEO to CSS so over time there should be a little something for everyone’s taste.

A big thanks to Chris at Castus Design (http://www.castusdesign.co.uk) and Gaz for volunteering to write the articles.

Accompanying every newsletter sent will be a thread in our newsletter forum where you will have to chance to discuss issues raised in the article.

If for some strange reason you do not want to receive the newsletters you can disable it in the options section of the user control panel.

I hope you enjoy them and look forward to hearing some feedback from them.

Dave.
Hello, I have a suggestion on this. You could add feeds to the newsletter. I have links of blogs, etc; That'll help you add a section where member's will know about the latest news on IT, Tech, etc; I'll keep a lookout. Between, I forgot what was a feed, if anyone could explain to me in details?
a feed is something which you can register to and it then send updates through.  people can link to these feeds to receive updates, see news etc.

We are automatically sending all of the newsletters to all members and then if you wish to unsubscribe you can.

Unfortunately we cannot post some articles on the site and so cannot create a newsletter archive.  We will be creating threads for each new newsletter to discuss the article where there will be a brief overview of what was in the article.  Some of our sources for the articles only permit use to publish them in newsletters.

We are currently discussing the newsletter and how we take it forward.  The newsletter will only be open for registered members so if anyone would like to receive it they will have to register.
