I use Core FTP, i find it extremely good and it is free!

I have always liked SmartFTP for windows but at the moment I am using Cyberduck i like. the best ftp clients are the simple ones.
Yea, simplicity really is the key in this day and age, no time for the extra bits.
Core Ftp has never given me a problem anyway.
FileZilla, Core FTP is good but it gave me some error messages from time to time, and it crashed the transfer, so sometimes a file or two got corrupt and I had to reupload. FileZilla hasn't given me any problems at all, and gives you more flexibility with the folders.
I have been using CoreFTP from couple of years. It can compete with any high ranked FTP program and the best thing about it is that it is free to download and use.
wow, i always thought that smartftp was a lot more popular
I use Filezilla for Windows and Cyberduck on the Mac. I love them both.
@Dave I used to use smartFTP, it's a great little ftp client.
I've used SmartFTP as well, but I like FileZilla more. I don't see the benefit in the commercial FTP clients though, as the free ones can pretty much do the same thing
