What do you think of them?

I find that the ones that are under 10GB are priced fairly well, and are a better alternative to the under 20GB iPod series. However, it seems that other mp3 players that play videos and have around the same capacity can't really compete with it. The only advantage is saving some money, and some have a bigger screen. But aside that they don't really implement new features, except that most of them use the drag n drop method rather than iTunes which is a plus IMO Nod
If I were you I would wait a few months and I think the technology that they are using on  the iPhone will be used in the new iPod and it will be slamming!
Your only other option though is that you can use a Zune, which I think the interface is poor or a Toshiba player...
I have a creative zen vision, great piece of kit except i just don't use it often enough to make it a good purchase, i spend 320euro on it last August and boy has it depreciated in value!
I have one which is a complete copy of Apple's iPod in design but the functions are different. The brand name is Audionic and it originates from China. It has capacity of 512 MB and also have features of Voice Recording, FM Radio and FM Recording.
Most of the copy cat iPods are from China, and they are small companies. The reason they can pull that off is because it's harder for Apple to sue them, since they don't circulate as much in the USA, idk about Europe.

You can usually get them on eBay, or directly from resellers that ship to any country.
