I've used Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works, Word Perfect, and AbiWord.

I usually use AbiWord, however, due to some of the glitches that appear from time to time I might have to go back to using Works or Word.

The benefit of AbiWord was that it loaded up quickly, and didn't lag at all. The glitches I'm talking about are when text sometimes gets stuck and you have to delete it, rather than writing over it. Or sometimes when you print unknown spaces appear. I think that happens when you copy and paste at times. Also it's free and it's included in some Linux distros which is why I liked using it, since when Windows would fail on me, I'd just boot up into Linux and open it up in AbiWord without a problem.
have you tried the new Microsoft office 2007? Its quite different from the old and actually a lot more stylish
I am only familiar to Microsoft word which comes with Microsoft Office XP and WordPad which comes with Windows.

I have found Microsoft Word the best because it is very stable and friendly navigation for person. Moreover, the help and tutorials provided are simply awesome.
i have tried neooffice for the mac and it was ok, worked well but since i have mac office i just use that.

Yeah it does look a lot better, only saw Word though. I believe it has new features as well, I might upgrade after I test out the trial. Microsoft finally improved the visual effects of their products this year, too bad Linux and Mac beat them to it before though. Hehe, I'm looking forward to the new Power Point, that's a great program, I'll give them that.
