Which computer brand do you think is the worst? I haven't encountered one that every model they have disappoints me.
So I'd say none. EMachines does make some low end machines, but just look at the price tag, so you can't expect too much. And I personally owned one and it's lasted for over 5 years, and a friend of mine has one that lasted him a while too.

i got plenty of eMachines, and i think there great, there so crap, and you pay like £200 for them, BUT you do get a great CPU (or at least i did) and then i just spent the money upgrading the parts that wern't quite so. in the end my eMachines had 3 craphics cards, 5GB of RAM and had 3 screens connected to it. quality beast.
i love dells to we have about 15 dells at home, loads of 17" CRT displays. had no faults with any of them.
had a few compaqs (sp?) back in the day, nout wrong with them, i remeber i had two laptops with track balls on the back of screens which was the mouse, that was before the touchpads or those blue things in the keyboard.
HP's are good as well, got an old one down stairs that my dad got for £1400 8 years ago, and it's shockingly shite now, you could get the same computer for well under a 1/3 of the price. but it's still a good machine.
only company i hate is SONY, i think they make the worst computers, totaly over priced, underspeced. i remeber a laptop that came out 5 years ago, and had a 533mhz proccessor and cost £800, what a damn rip off. and it was bad quality, fell apart quickly, i never had one. friends had many a sony and he has finally moved to a better brand
Sony PCs don't impress me either, except their monitors when they first came out. I'll give them that, but I haven't seen the current Sony monitors so IDK if their still good or not. But I do remembering them being better than what was out @ the time, except for price.
Sony sell design, that's why their pc's are so expensive. and computers are not their main products, so yeah, you can't expect much.
for me, all my pc's are dells, and they're good, i think my next pc will also be a dell
I never owned a Dell, but have used and repaired some. Nowadays they have more reasonable prices than they did before, so owning a Dell is a lot cheaper, and they do have good customer support so that's a plus. If your the type of person that likes to ask a lot of questions, then Dell is for you. But at the same time, you might be able to get a PC with similar specs for less. Speaking of saving money, Dell has some program for people that work at certain places, I believe some colleges get discounts from them, as my friend has a relative who works in a college, and receives a decent percentage off.
Dell's gone down hill. Hopefully with Michael Dell actually back at the company, things will turn around. But I wouldn't by one any time soon.

i have never took to dell.
on another note one of the best companies for computing are medion. they are mainly sold in the uk and germany (aldi most the time) and although they sound a bit crappy their hardware is really good and always comes with 3 years warranty. i think the main reason they are so good is because they make mashups of everyone elses so have sony, samsung, nvidia and everyone in one box.
I had a GateWay PC and I wasn't impressed by it. First of all its structure wasn't very good so if I had to change the hard disk, it would take at least an hour. Secondly, it wasn't very stable and used to get restart if I used it constantly for 5-6 hours.

the ram in my tower is really hard to change because the graphics card is really close to it so i can't flip the clips unless i take out the graphics card - stupid design.
