Has did ever happened to you?

It did to me today, I had to contact support to get help, which I very rarely do.

What happened is when you add a add-on domain you CAN'T point it to a folder that already exists. The FAQ on their site said that, but there's no reminder in cpanel itself. So I didn't know and did that, and what happened? My domain didn't work because the destination got reset or something.

It didn't let me remove it, since it didn't show up on the list, but for some reason the sub domain worked, and thank god the directory was left intact, so my data was fine Nod

Anyway, took em about ~40 minutes to answer. Then they resolved it, but then it came down again after I went out. Came back home, and I was like WTF, then went back and told em the problem. They resolved it after about an hour, and then the newly created dir was not showing up via ftp, so I went back. Then a few minutes later I saw it on the ftp, I guess it takes a few more minutes, I just had to be more patient Eek

The lesson, don't mess around with Cpanel lol. Apparently your Cpanel can get a bit out of control if you enter some wrong settings.
I think they might be fixing this when cPanel 11 comes out soon! Tongue I can't wait until they release it!
Wow, if so, that's a seriously big bug!
