I just hate it sometimes, its so annoying to work with at points, especially if its been badly set out. Nothing annoys me more.
I can see the advantages of using it, but using tables is so much easier then getting stuck in and coding css for ages. Its just plain annoying does anyone else share my views on this?
i disagree, i have been using css for so long now i find it quicker to use.
i hate reading other peoples css files as they are often a complete mess so impossible to work things out.
I suppose if I got into it a bit more id find it easier and easier, its not that I cant do it. BUt as you said, when I have to go through other peoples work it just ends up doing my head in!
I'm still learning CSS but from what I hear, once you learn it and understand it, it goes good

the most common phrase i hear it is takes no time to learn but a lifetime to master, soooo true.
I like CSS more, and stopped using tables a while ago. And from my experience, tables only seem easier, if something goes wrong, you'll probably spend more time fixing it than if you were using CSS.
Plus a lot of things nowadays are based on CSS so it's good to know how to use it.
two words, usability and accesibilty, nough said.

css code is a lot cleaner toooo, tables often look seriously messy.
I used to use tables a few months back, however I have recently started using CSS and ever since then I have never looked back. The ease with which you can apply minor changes to your website by editing just one file is so much better than editing each and every file individually.
I like CSS, it makes all the things you did before using html and other stuff easier. I know it can be very difficult to handle at the beginning and you can even hate it, but you will understand later how useful it is.
