What do you prefer, to make/buy a unique skin or use a premade one?

I'd say unique, but it's often either time consuming, a pain, or expensive (if you pay for one that is).

I usually just use a premade and customize it to my needs. That proves to be efficient enough for me.

However, you should always customize a premade theme, and never leave it 100% exactly how it was made. Or else it will look like a copy cat. At least change the logo/header and a few of the colors or buttons.

I go with the premade skin because i don't have much cash. However i put a rule for myself to follow. If u cannot find the premade skin or can not customize it for you needs then you will need to go for a unique.

i go with unique skins everytime.  if you have the time and skill you should definitely not waste you time on premade ones.

the premade skins are often boring looking and especially people with tech forums like this, the members will recognise the premade skins and so make it less likely to join.

I have a mixutre of both. Depending on the project and my amount of time to be involved in it. Unique skins are always going to be better if you are good at making them, but sometimes its just not worth it. Customizing a premade one may just be what you need!

I agree with ammo, a unique skin is always better, but getting one can cost you a lot of money, instead you can buy a premade skin and make all changes you want to have a "unique" skin or different enough from others to save money.
