Yeah, I know I make a lot of threads about Operating Systems, but hey I can't help it.
Anyway, anyone still use this version lol?
I haven't used it in like 3 years. I'm sure there's a lot of members here who never even used it. This OS was pretty much a 1 year thing. After Windows 2000 came out, it was soo buggy, and then MS released ME after the Win2k Service packs, and then about a year or two later, XP was released. And ME was forgotten. I think there's probably more people using 2000 than ME.

i refer to it as Windows Mistake Edition, because thats what it was, point less, nothing specail about it compared to 2000, and it was only realsed 7 months after.

i refer to nearly every ms os a mistake 
XP has definitely been the best and by the sounds of it vista is going to be top.

lol good one. anyway yeah true there wasn't much of a change since 2000, except some new wallpapers, and start up sounds. Oh yeah and it had a new windows game, spider solitare.
However, the most noteable thing was system restore. Using that OS I learned about system restore and how to use it, which would come in handy in XP, although reinstalling proved to be more efficient at times.

thats if u could get it to install, there were some big problems with that.
XP or ME?
I never had a problem installing XP, except once but it was because of the computer. The harddrive was badly corrupt, I had to wipe it clean with some boot disk.
ME was a real failure of an operating system, they released it after 2000 to be an upgrade kind of thing, but ME was built on the 98 architecture compared to 2000 which was NT.
It loaded a tad faster and had some different desktop icons. They are the highlights of Windows Me!
It's 2 years, since i got a ME, i have a vista now.
I bought ME when it came out. A week later I put 98 back on my computer. ME was the OS from hell.

i was fixing an me machine earlier today and it is very bad.
