Has anyone come across any good april fools this year? we have already spoken about googles with the free broadband.
another good one i saw was in one of the sunday papers with an article for a new ipod with a black and white screen for improved viewing of black and white movies for £30 extra (or i hope it was an april fools

Actually, Google has said that they are going to offer free broadband internet to those around the Mountain View Area; I don't think thats an April Fools Joke. I will have to find the article. I don't think its official as of yet.

Well the TISP was definitely a joke
As for them actually providing free internet, that might be true, as I also heard about it.
Apparently in San Francisco, they already offer it:

^ Article is from 2005, so they might of spread it to new areas by now, and once most of the U.S has it ,they will probably move onto Europe.

i think the free internet part is possible and will be around very shortly.
I know for a fact that google is offering free wifi, around the mountain view area.
There where sent a mail to my home, and they said, they remove my mailbox, and all my mail will be sent online, and they showed a adresse i look it up and it says APRIL FOOL !
