Hey guys, I don't have IE7 installed on either Windows platform or Ubuntu (thank-goodness), so I was asking a general (relatively simple) question for someone else.

So, here's the question.
How do you disable images in IE7. I need like instructions on how to do it, not necessarily to be told to turn it off.

I mean, in IE 6.0, you go to Tools -> Options -> Advanced Tab and go down to Multimedia find something about Images and uncheck it or check it for disabled or enabled. (One or the other, I forget which).

So, that's basically the kind of instructions I need, as I don't have IE 7 but only use Firefox Tongue
I know there is bound to be someone here that uses IE !
Oh, and if possible, a screen shot would be helpful, so I can see how it's done.

Thanks guys!

tip - if they don't have the menu bar enabled they won't see "tools". They may need to right click on the menu and tick "Menu Bar"

most people are still using it.unfortunately.

Yeah, I don't think I would really belive that either! FireFox will always be better than IE. lol
well i still have ie, just so that i can use Live messenger, or else it screws up big time.
I thought you can't remove Internet Explorer from Windows.
you can, it is easy, through add/remove program link
What you can't remove is explorer (explorer.exe), which is kind of like IE (iexplorer.exe), but it's used for OS functions, not web browsing.

iexplorer.rpm = Linux Nightmare Tongue
Oh, So I think I might remove it Tongue

That just removes it from your point of view, it is built into the operating system, and can't actually be removed.

i wouldn't quite say that, explorer.exe is the GUI of the fileing system of windows, where as iexplorer.exe is just web browsing, as you said, similar name doesn't mean they have anything else in common, you can 'remove' (as in kill) explorer.exe but your stuck after that.
