Hi,

Like every release of a new OS from microsoft, it has its problems.

I know of two softwares which do not install on vista (or not easily anyway).

Photoshop is one and the other is Orange Broadband modems are currently not compatible with it.

any others to add the the list?
No photoshop?
Another reason not to use Vista then.
Woah, you cannot use PS with Vista?! That's a HUGE problem for graphic designers!
On another site I read that it runs fine.
Believe it was toms hardware, but I'm not sure.

i have heard 50:50 split of general compatibility of not just photoshop but all softwares.  photoshop has installed fine on some peoples pc but for others it has been hell.

This is tough question.Reason:there is toomuch programs which doesnt work with vista.
Sorenson Squeeze. blah.  Doesn't work worth a crapola.
there is a way to use incompability programs with vist. install the app and simpy right click on the file and go to properties then compability mode and go to run compability mode for--- and the select win xp sp2
