You may want to consider making your new post icons more discernable, as the current ones make it very hard to tell which topics have new posts.

thanks for your suggestions, i may have a go at making some new ones which are red instead of blue at the weekend.

at the moment it is just the default ones.

Yeah red would be good. I don't really find them hard to distinguish, but the current ones do look a bit dull.

Also, sort of on the same subject, when all of the posts are read in a particular forum, the new post icons do not dim on the index for a while after. Do you have these cached or something?

i don't think so. i am unsure.

there is a link at the bottom to mark all posts as read.

i will look into it.
