Webbers Corner - WebbersC (Blue) MyBB Theme

Hello,

I have decided to allow people to download the MyBB theme which is used on this site.

Requirements
This theme requires mybb 1.2.2 or higher, any lower and you will get nasty php errors. This is for the pure reason i have modified a couple of the php files which i have also attached. These will be updated each time a new edition of mybb is released. The theme will work with mybb 1.2 if you either remove the php edits and modify the template.

Agreement
This is a free download and you are permitted to alter anything you want although it is strictly forbidden to remove any copyrights and links on the theme.
Your are not allowed to publish this theme for either reselling or free download anywhere else.

Installation Instructions
- Download the theme from this thread, you must be a registered member to do this.
- Upload the images to your forum directory, replacing any files which may already exist.
- Upload the global.php file to the forum directory, replace this exisiting one.  This will allow the menus to change depending on whether you are logged in or not.
- In the administration go to Themes > Import and upload the WebbersC-theme.xml file.

Set this theme as the default and you're done.

Updates/Modifications
16/01/2007 - I have updated the theme with a few things changed on the coding side but nothing to get worried about or bother updating your current themes.  I have also added a theme with no sidebar which was requested.
27/03/2007 - To have the theme working with mybb 1.2.3 please ensure you use the global.php file located in this post - http://webberscorner.com/showthread.php?...01#pid3201

Hmmm, I think I did something wrong. Also, do we have to leave the affiliates thing there, or can we remove that?

The problem is you have no images, are you sure you have uploaded the images in the images folder to the images folder on your hosting?

yes you can remove the affiliates, the only thing you can't remove is the links in the footer. i left the affiliates on just to show what you can do with the space.

i will release a version of the theme without the sidebar sometime today. i am happy for you to publish Arabic version of the theme and you can post it on your website, just link back to my forum. also i would be greatful if you could email it to me aswell so i can publish it on my site (i will note it was converted by you with a link to your forum).

Glad you like the theme. I have an avatar pack with 12,000 avatars which I may publish on the site, the only thing is it is 70mb so could be a little draining on the bandwidth since i would recon it could be quite popular because i have never seen that many avatars for free in one download.

i get all my custom fonts from http://simplythebest.net/fonts/

i am producing a red and black/grey version of the theme sometime today and hopefully publishing it today which you might be interested in converting.

You can alter any of the template which includes adding and deleting as long as in the footer there is a link back to this forum.

i have no idea about the nav not reading correctly, can i see it?

The only thing i can think of is html is coded around english so do you need to use some sort of codes for other languages? I can see copyright symbols and everything so it looks like it is trying to interpret it as english. Whereas the bits you have already done are added my the mybb system through the template engines.

hmm. that isn't to do with the template then, more likely to be mybb. is the language of the forum board arabic?

I have no idea mate, i can only advise posting in the mybb forum or talking on their IRC, but i don't think there should be any reason it would do that relating to the forum.

BTW, I have released two updated versions of the theme with just a few html updates on it. I have also released a version without the sidebar.

Glad you like the theme, maybe I can help you out with a logo but i am busy until next thursday. i am not sure if anyone else can help you out in the meantime.
