freehostia looks pretty good, they also have paid services, which is a good thing, i have seen many hosts already who has to shut down because they only live on ads on forums or so.
you don't have to post a certain amount on a forum to get it also. that's actually great, i don't see much such a 100% free host.
only they don't have cPanel, but i can live with that
i'll consider it if i decide to have my own website
