Hi,
there is always a lot of discussion about what web2.0 is.
what do you think it is?
i think it is about community involvement with commenting, submitting information and making people feeling part of the site. for the design its all about bold colours, rounded corners and large text.
web two point oh, is just something that has been around for donkey's years, but some monkey put it out there as this web two point oh, and now every jackass is asking for something they don't understand or need, what it is, is where the user is involved more in the website, by the use of javascript and other technologies.
i wonder what web3.0 will be and when it will come out.
it's possibly already amoung us, web 2.0 was done years before it was 'released'
I think the term (web 2.0) is more figurative than literal. It's more of a marketing term, like "yuppie" was back in the 80's. But as far as what is meant when a site is termed 2.0 to me is that it is advanced, it is not a typical site. Usually these types of sites are ahead of the pack, if you will.
for me the main difference is that the users make the content and not the side adminstrators. technically, nothing is "realy" new
one question
can know how a web site can be designed for an organization
i mean the procedure to create our own website or to any other org.
please send the details.
yours sincerely.

Hmm your post is a bit off topic.
But anyway, you first need a domain name, since your talking about an organization it would be ideal to buy a .org domain instead of a .com
So you'd purchase Organization.org if it's taken, then you need to alter the name a bit. Then you need to get a web host, if your on a really tight budget, then you could use ad-free hosting. And as the site grows, upgrade to paid hosting.
As for the design, you can use a premade free template and edit it, or create/buy a unique one. Or you can use a CMS or blog software depending on your organization. You could even use a forum as a means of primary communication.
If you need further help, feel free to make a thread with any other questions or things that you need to be clarified.
Thank you so much for explanations and links you posted and understand better what is Web 2.0.
I wasn't so clear about what the concept is especifically, but now the difference between Web 1.0 and 2.0 is clear to me.
