Okay, what should I get for XMAS?
I 360? Keep in mind, the ONLY games I play are Need for speed and Elder Scrolls.
A PSP? I am a huge music fan, but I do have a year old 30 GB Video iPod.
HDTV? I don't watch much tv, only when I want to fall asleep.
A computer to play Oblivion on? I would only use it for Oblivion seeing as I have my shiny iMac from last Xmas.
So, ideas?

Heh, be happy you have such good choices. Anyway, I'd probably go for either the Wii, as camcool suggested, or the 360. The HDTV would be a waste of time, since you don't plan on watching HD movies. And the PSP would be an even bigger waste, since you'll only be using it for music. The PSP can only hold about ~2GB of music anyway because of the cards. I think their might be a 4GB card but it's really expensive. Stick with your Video Ipod.

With shipping it should come up to around the same price of a PSP. I know I suggested things that you didn't list, but oh well, it's good to have an open mind.
Well since its been awhile, what did you end up getting as the Xmas present?
Although he didn't announce it, I'm pretty sure he got the 360 or some other gaming consoles, perhaps preordered the PS3 or even picked up a Wii.
He didn't show much interest in the other items.

Actually I would probably get a PSP as it is so small and you can use it to watch avi files etc...they are pretty easy to hack too.

the wii looks good although it seems a very multiplayer console and i have heard a lot of people are bored with it and don't feel like playing it single player.
i think the xbox is the best one to get at the moment.
