Time Duration: 5 minutes
Programs Required: Adobe Photoshop
Outline: It this tutorial you will learn how simple is it to make colour water drops on photoshop in 8 simple steps. And once you master this tutorial, you will make lots and lots of wonderful backgrounds with this technique.
Tutorial:
1.)Create a new document (I used 640x480 but any size is ok)
2) Press D. This will reset the colours
3) Now change the background from white to black. You can do this by clicking on the Paint Bucket Tool (keyboard link G), it should already be selected to black because you have pressed D. Click on the document.
4.) Next go Filter > Render > Lense Flare. Press Ok. The size or where you put it does not matter.
5) Repeat step 4 a few times. (3 repeats is ideal. Make sure they do not over lap much)
6) No go Filter > Scetch > Chrome.
The default setting should be fine. You can change then if you want but I used 'Detail - 4' and 'Smoothness - 7'. Click Ok
7) Now Ctrl B to change the colour. I used this blue/green colour but you will have to mess with the setings until you are happy.
8) It is complete. If you have done it righti t should look something like the picture above.
Special Notes:
