I am looking for hosting that offers a secure checkout included in the hosting package.
needs to be monthly or yearly.
needs to be reliable and not go under, close down when the host is tired of things.
godaddy charges astronomical rates for a secure checkout but was offered freely with some UK hosting i used to use.

I am looking into this for a friend, its not for me.
the hosting must be Stateside and not go down alot like some inexpensive unamed hosting i used to have.

what do you mean by a secure checkout?  ssl?

secure checkout, i mean allows a person to have an ssl and checkout system without extra cost.

well i have never seen that before.  they have always been extras on top of the normal hosting.  and normally double the price.

if you are selling something have you considered something like paypal or rightcart?

I'm not quite sure where you can get something like that, I would just install a shopping system, like CubeCart or something and get and install an SSL Cert.
