Awesome!
How do the minis work? I was thinking of buying one just to see how the intel ones run XP and such.

ok some facts from my view.
XP runs faster on mac than it does on a crappy IBM-Clone. as the Mac hardware is compiled by Apple, and they make sure there hardware is quality, so everything just works better.
Macs are alot, buy don't forget what you get. you get the hardware (which works right out the box) you get software, not just office works or any old crap, you get some decent software which apple give to you, and last but not least you get the actual OS, which by all means is leaps and bounds ahead of Vista.

I know of people who Duel Boot via Mac OSX and Windows XP! I also know of people that dual boot off of MaxOSX and Mandrake Linux (I think)

i would never do that or install windows onto a mac. when buying a mac you partly pay for the software on it and the macos is way better than windows.
i wish i had a mac (sigh)

Macs are still way too expensive in my opinion.and it doesn't really make sense to download XP, b/c when you purchase a Mac you are also paying for the software as Dave said.

3 Macs.
(1) fully loaded G5, though it's 2 years old. Still a great editing machine.
(1) fully loaded Macbook Pro, I'll have had it a year in May. I use it when I travel, or when I don't feel like editing in a cave.
(1) Quad-Xeon Mac Pro at work, again, for video editing and such.
Love 'em. But I use Windows PCs like crazy, as well. In fact, that's what i'm on right now, and my Mac (to my right) has got some processes going on it. I've got three screens, 2 on my PC, 1 on my Mac, all widescreen - and the systems operate with 1 keyboard and 1 mouse, linked together with Synergy. Allows me to drag my mouse across all three screens seamlessly, with the mouse and keyboard connected to the PC (acting as the host). Amazing piece of software. Keyboard control follows the focus of which system the mouse cursor is on.
