The google name?  Where did it come from?
Google was meant to be called Googal, the mathematical number of 1 followed by 100 zeros but a typo meant that the spelling google stuck.

The google founders?
Accroding to the Sunday Times Rich List, Larry Page and Sergey Brin are the joint 34th richest people in the world with £7.3 billion each!

go to google, click on language tools.  All languages are in Alphabetical order down the page a little, under the title "Use The Google Interface in Your Language." Scan the columns for languages starting w/ the letter E.  Click on the hyperlink that says Elmer Fudd.

I think that is what makes part of google friendly image.

It's also cool how they update their logo every so often, especially during a holiday or season. It still says Google, but with a different effect, for example, the current logo has two kangaroos in it.

This seems to have been written couple years ago as well. They must have grown even bigger by now.

I almost purchased Google shares when they first came on Nasdaq, but was worried about all the hype. The stock price went up 4 folds in couple years.
