Hi everyone, my name is Paul and I am 20 years old. I live in England and goto Portsmouth University where I do an Internet Technology degree. Smile
Welcome, how are you finding that course?
I'm finding it too easy, i wish it was harder. lol
is it about website development like php, javascript etc or something else?
Yes it is. Smile But i'm a bit like been there, done that. Since i've already been doing it for years as a hobby. lol

Pretty much what it is:

- php, javascript, css
- java (haven't started this yet)
- server maintanance

Anything web based Smile

I like it though, it beats getting a job at mcdonalds or something. Luckely i already made tons on the internet, so i wouldn't need a job whatever happens Smile
are you in your first year? and is it souly about languages on the net, or do you do anything else?
Yes, i'm in my first year. Its mostly about languages yes, working with servers. Theres also maths to do, which is the super boring part :/

I'm doing a sandwich course, so its

2 years of the course, then a year fully paid work experience as a programmer, then i go back for my final year. Smile So 4 years in total. Smile
thats a sandwich course :S

i'm doing Web applications Development at plymouth, and i do the same thing as you, have 2 years, then go off and work for a year, and then come back for my final yeah, and it's not a sandwich course.

i suppose they call it a sandwich because you have to do something else between it.

interesting course, i'd like to have a sandwich also Tongue. seems cool to get a job without going to find it.

i'm not at uni yet and i have no idea what i would do =/ atm i like to learn webbased things, but i might get bored in the future, i dunno :s

sounds like a good gig. Also a lot of people really struggle to succeed in college so it's great that u wish it was harder!
