Hey,

I found this site while looking at gaz's site (http://www.dramaticred.co.uk).

it is excellent and tests design, accessibility etc etc.

http://sitescore.silktide.com/

i would strongly recommend designers give it a go.
very very very very very interesting, very fast and contains all of aspects of web design. and very useful tips Big Grin. but it's not always right, for example webberscorner.com has much less score than a much worse forum (won't say which one, but it has lots of spams and annoying ads)
and my website is rated 8.1 Smile wooooo
webberscorner.com - 6.6
netfuseuk.com - 6.6

google - 8.4
yahoo - 8.4
bbc - 9.2
cssplay.co.uk - 9.7

man mine are poor lol.  will need to have a look at improving it sometime.  congrats on your high score.
i think that is the point of the name.

and to be fair you it wasn't them rounded corners.  it was the fact i haven't put all the meta tags in and not many sites link to it.  i got nearly top score for both sites for speed.

there is no other way to make the rounded corners using css and divs which is more efficient.

by the way to Gaz: your site is very ironic consider the fact that you have an aqua colour scheme, when your website URL states that it is supposed to be dramatic "red".

It's ment to be that way Wink

i think there might be, i shall show you later.

i know you can float the corners but you would still need to use 4 divs inside eachother.

there are basically 8 images required.  4 for the corners and 4 for the border edge.

That only requires the use of 4 images.  I need 8.  Also to be honest I am not sure that is a better method. I found my method from the Drupal site who use it.

hmm.very, VERY interesting, seems inaccurate tho? I wouldn't put too much though into the grade this site gives you, however it does give tips for improvement

Yes, it does seem to be not all accurate.  For example it says google does not abide by British Web Standards which I am struggling to believe.  Plus my websites did crap in it so I will go along with it lol.
