I'm also interested in C++, it's quite difficult but truly powerful programming language. As you said if you are able to learn C++, then learning other languages will be easier. Do you know any good tutorial that I can use to get started?

Apparently, it's not that hard to learn, and can create some pretty good games! You can even port your creations to some handheld devices.
