Hey,

I have now had my macbook for a month and thought i would write up a litle review.  This is my first mac and I love it.  it has yet to go wrong and has yet to crash Big Grin.

The actual hardware looks amazing although i must admit you have to take care of it.  it does have a tendency to scratch easily which you have to watch.

the only thing i have struggled to setup is my wireless network, especially with wpa or wep protection.

overall i would give it 8/10 and well worth checking out!
Good to hear, maybe one day I'll get a Mac instead of a Windows PC.

And as for the scratching, my friend has an older model, and his got scratched up pretty easily as well. Reminds me of the iPod which also gets scratched up quite easily without the case. At least it doesn't freeze though, however, I must say Vista hasn't frozen yet either. Sure a program crashes, but then the OS goes back to normal.
ye, i love the os for macs.  the hardware is superb and i can understand the compromise of design and materials which apple have to make.

it is exactly the same material as the front of the ipod but so far mine is fine, i have a bag and i am careful with it so should be fine.  i have had it for a month but it would probably nearer 3-6 months use for normal users as i use it most the day from 9am to 12pm so as you can imagine it is getting a lot of use.

one of the best features i forgot to mention is the magnetic power which if you put on it will just pop out which stops it from getting damaged, the last two laptops i have had have both broke because of the power.  also with the plugs being on the side it stops so much pressure being placed on the power as you tend to lean it back onto it on normal computers.
