mine's a mess also, my desktop is 100% full on this pc (but the resolution is only 1024x768). on the other one i have 2 monitors and i have to clean up weekly, i have a bad habit to put everything on my desktop

you do know that on windows, the more icons you have on the desktop the longer it takes for the desktop to load at start.

they're just normal files, not shortcut icons. anyway, i almost never turn my computer off
