I'm seriously eyeballing the Panasonic Toughbook.

But, with that pricetag I guess it's more of my dream computer. I've used one before, extremely lightweight, extremely durable(and I also noticed the power charger connection is solid, unlike most laptops.).

The only drawback of this machine is the small screen, but I don't mind.

So how about u guys? Whats ur next computer going to be? Dream Computer?

it will defenitly be a kind of tablet pc. cus, you know it's pretty easy for designers, you can work directly on the screen and stuff. it looks pretty cool also.

my dream machine is the mac pro fully speced out and will cost over £12,000, and will beat any windows pc!

that sounds like what i would have, remembering it to be fully loaded with software including photoshop, dreamweaver, flash and more.

they do but they have some massive problems with the operating system because it is not XP, it is a new XP system and they keep crashing.

yes, most (all) tablet pc's has at "Tablet PC" version of windows. (so it's not a "new" system) where did you read it's unstable?

i didn't read, i observed.  my dad purchased 10 for his work and they are always crashing, freezing and generally problems.
