School only has Photoshop thus I have to use it. At home I use Fireworks.

Ive never used gimp, but i have heard it is really good. I use photoshop and i love it

I use Gimp, but not that very often since I'm not a very big picture person, but more of a coder.
But I rate Gimp far above Photoshop, as I have seen it on my Dad's laptop (it came preinstalled on it), and I can't figure it out for the life of me.
Gimp is way better and has more effects as far as I have seen.
Besides, it's my only image software on Ubuntu, so I wouldn't take no less

I can't afford PhotoShop, but even if I did, I would never use it in place of GIMP. GIMP is the best free graphics software out there. I LOVE it! I wouldn't recommend anything else over it
